Crosswind Shines Bright in Statewide Fire Safety Contest!

Crosswind Elementary is thrilled to celebrate an incredible achievement by our talented students in the 2025 Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office Fire Prevention Poster Contest! Out of 14 statewide winners, Collierville brought home 7 awards — and FOUR of those winners are from Crosswind! 🌟
Our students didn’t just create stunning artwork — they used their creativity to spread an important message about fire safety, making a real impact in our community. We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and dedication!
Crosswind Winners:
- Commissioner’s Choice: Claire Wyrick (5th Grade)
- Kindergarten: James McDaniel
- Third Grade: Hishanvi Pradeep
- Fourth Grade: Samyuktha Kailash
These amazing artists join other Collierville winners from Bailey Station Elementary and West Collierville Middle School in setting a new record for our town. 🏆
Even more exciting — 11 of the 14 statewide winners are from Shelby County, representing Collierville, Arlington, and Bartlett. What an incredible way to showcase the talent and leadership in our region!
To our students: We are SO proud of you!
To our parents, teachers, and our art teacher, Mr. Cory Hogel: Thank you for inspiring and supporting these young leaders. Together, we’re building a safer, stronger community.
